Great vibe in the heart of the city

This place is fabulous and friendly and could not be more central. It's a 5-min walk from Brussels-Centraal Station and just one road back from the beautiful Grand Place. So the location is perfect and the biggest draw. I worried that our room might be noisy but it was overlooking the side street and was quiet - even with my window open I still only noticed some street noise in the morning but not enough to disturb me. I went with some extended family and we booked a suite - they had a double room downstairs and I had a room upstairs with one bed (made up of two separate mattresses as is common in Europe). Each room had its own en-suite bathroom - large and clean (very large in the case of the upstairs bathroom). The upstairs bedroom was accessible via a narrow staircase and the entrance to the room was off to the left so it was very private and fairly quiet despite not having a door. We never made it to breakfast but there is a coffee shop on the ground floor that always seemed very popular and reasonable, with pancakes, smoothies, coffees, yummy-looking pastries. The hotel reception staff were very welcoming and friendly and spoke perfect English (and we heard them speaking to guests in many other languages besides French). This is an excellent base and so welcoming - I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel ok but... the receptionist recommended using the QR code on the reception desk to access "all the media" during our stay. This is a scam. I paid 1.00 Euro for a 3 day trial but when I cancelled after 1 day, was charged 59.99. Still battling for my money back.

As central as you can get

The hotel is located about as central as to can get, being only metres from the Royal Palace and Delirium bar (probably more popular ‘attraction’ than the palace). There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby so you have plenty of options for food and drink. The rooms are clean however we initially had a problem trying to establish with the gentleman behind reception that we had booked twin rooms instead of the allocated double rooms. After sorting this, I still don’t know if he didn’t understand the request or was trying to wind us up, we got the correct rooms. The showers aren’t the best in the world as they are in the bath but are adequate. We had a standard room which was big enough with a view of the alley to the side. It is true that at night it can be noisy with revellers walking through the pedestrian area but if you want to reduce this I would suggest asking for a room on one of the higher floors. The breakfast is great and served in a cafe off reception that has people queuing to get in all day. The hotel rope off a separate area for hotel guests meaning you can always get a table and have your own dedicated service area. The hot options, which are included in the breakfast offering, are of high quality and really tasty. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel with the only thing letting it down being the initial service at reception, which is not needed after you have been travelling all day, and not having a separate shower. Would definitely stay again.

Prefect, centrally located hotel for a short stay. Very new and modern rooms. Simple and clean style. Small desk space. Spacious bathrooms. Disappointing breakfast so perhaps only use as a base and explore cafes nearby. Extremely friendly staff.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms, good facilities and friendly staff. However, by far the best part of this hotel is its prime location. Located in the heart of Brussels, most things are just a walk away, particularly Brussels-Central which is just up the street. It’s a great location to walk around Brussels and anything too far to walk to you can count on Brussels reliable bus or underground network.
